Kotor already feels cinematic. Pale stone, narrow passages, old doors, open squares and the mountains above the bay offer several visual worlds within a short walk. That makes it ideal for wedding photography, especially when a couple wants variety without spending the day in a car.
The challenge is timing. Cruise visitors and strong midday contrast can make the Old Town busy and visually restless. Early morning offers quiet streets and gentle light. Late afternoon and evening bring warmth and atmosphere, but the route needs to account for people and the way the mountains block direct sun earlier than an open horizon would.
